Performances:
During the week of 16-21 July as part of The International Youth Arts Festival at The Rose Theatre, Kingston. Exact performance dates tbc.

A musical by Howard Goodall with book and lyrics by Charles Hart.
Commissioned and first performed by the National Youth Music Theatre.

The Dreaming is a musical version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Howard Goodall, the composer of such well-known theme tunes as The Vicar of Dibley and Blackadder, teamed up with lyricist Charles Hart (The Phantom of the Opera) to create this fabulous show for the National Youth Music Theatre. The show has a distinctly spooky edge, mixed with superb comedy. And some glorious tunes.

Course Fees
If selected, the cost of the course will be in the region of £500 (tbc). This cost includes a five-day residential period in the Easter holiday and the tutoring and experience gained in rehearsal and performance. The audition (£15 fee) will be in the form of a 2-hour workshop, during which you will work with leading practitioners focusing on the disciplines of acting, singing and movement.

N.B. We provide help for all participants on how to raise funds for course fees from school, college, trusts and foundations. If you need advice on fundraising please call or email us. Burseries are available in cases of need.
